The second annual summit of the Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care was held on May 9, 2017. The Coalition includes a diverse set of organizations committed to ensuring that health care for everyone in the Commonwealth reflects their goals, values and preferences.

Hosted at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston, the program included a keynote address by Dr. Atul Gawande, Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care and author of New York Times bestseller Being Mortal, remarks from Alice Bonner, Secretary of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, video presentations and an interactive session featuring members sharing their perspectives and insights on their initiatives.
